Our Mission
Living Springs Church exsists to reach others with the good news of Jesus Christ. It is the desire of LSC to present a clear Biblical message about salvation through Christ alone.
Living Springs Church desires to see believers become growing disciples of Jesus Christ.
Living Springs Church has a heart to help others in need through purposeful ministry outreach.
What We Believe
God
There is one and only one living and true God. He is a spiritual and personal being, the Creator, Redeemer, Preserver and Ruler of the universe. He is all-loving, all-just, all-wise and all-powerful. Gen. 1:1; John 4:24
Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is the Son of God, co-equal with the Father. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate his power over sin and death. 1 Cor. 15: 3-4; Phil. 2:5-11
Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is equal with the Father and the Son as God. He is present in the world to make people aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. We believe that the Holy Spirit gifts every believer for service in the local church. John 16:7-13; Gal. 5:22-25; Matt. 3:11; 1 Cor. 12: 1-11
The Bible
The Bible is the historical record of God's activity written by mankind, but inspired by God's Spirit. It contains no error. It reveals the plan, purposes and will of God for all time. Psalm 119:105; 2 Tim. 3:16
Humanity
Men and women were created by a special work of God in his image and are the finest of all creation. They were created innocent, but with a free choice they sinned against God and fell from their original state. Gen. 1:27; Rom. 3:23
Salvation
Salvation is the gift of God for all humanity and is offered freely to all who accept Jesus as Lord and Savior. It was obtained by the substitutional death of Christ on the cross. Rom. 5:8-9; Rom. 6:23
Church
The church is a group of believers brought together by the Spirit of God to carry out the Great Commandment by practicing the Great Commission. Matt. 22:37-40; Eph. 5:23-27
Baptism
Baptism is an outward expression of an inward change that has occurred in the life of the believer. It is identification with Christ by picturing his death, burial and resurrection. Matt. 28:19; Rom. 6:4
The Lord's Supper
The Lord's Supper is a memorial service where we remember Jesus' sacrifice. The bread and cup are symbols of his broken body and shed blood which were given for our salvation. Luke 22:19
Our Pastor
The pastor of Living Springs Church is George Ramirez. Pastor George has been in the ministry for over 30 years. He and his wife Susie have 3 children and 9 grandchildren. Pastor George is a graduate of Wayland Baptist University and has done additional studies at Golden Gate Seminary. Pastor George is also one of the leaders of the Fellowship66 network. Livings Springs Church is part of SABA and Texas Baptist
